Over the summer, Conservancy staff have worked hard to create a welcoming outdoor meeting and native plant sale space behind our office at 455 Dixon Rd. The space was completed just in time for our fall native plant sale, which was a well-attended event held on October 14th, 2023. If you haven’t had a chance to check out our new space, we welcome you to come by and say hello. We still have some of our locally grown native plants in stock, a selection of which is available for viewing and sale. Inside our office you will find a small natural history display with animal bones, insects, shells, and other items of interest, as well as friendly staff who love to talk about nature on Mayne Island.
We won’t be holding regular office hours because our work often takes us outside, but we encourage anyone wanting to stop by to give us a quick call at 250-539-2535 to see if we’re home. We hope to see you soon!
