Celebrate with us at our 20th Anniversary Gala Dinner, alongside keynote speaker, David Suzuki!

Award-winning scientist, environmentalist and broadcaster, Dr. Suzuki will share his insights and inspirations, encouraging us to take action on the environmental challenges we face as a community and as global citizens. We are very honoured to have his support and are so pleased to welcome him to the island!

We have a lot to celebrate in our 20^th year, including the conservation of St. John Point, Edith Point, and all the work achieved caring for the land and shoreline on and around the island. These accomplishments could not have happened without the ongoing support and involvement of our community and the time and effort put in by our hard-working volunteers – thank you so much!

We are already looking forward to the next decade, and are excited to share our vision for the years ahead with you. The Anniversary Gala will help us build the resources needed for our work in the coming years and so we are so grateful for everyone who is working to make this a success, and of course, those who will be attending.

Tickets are $200 per person, of which approximately $140 will be a claimable charitable donation. The three-course gala dinner, prepared by Jan Gumbmann, will consist of local food where possible and will be accompanied by a cash bar. Dinner and the key-note address will be followed by a live band and dancing. Separate tickets will be available for the dance, for those who won’t be joining us at the dinner but are wanting to join us to celebrate!
