June 26 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm$10
Anemones, sea stars, and limpets, oh my! On June 26th, join the Mayne Island Conservancy for a guided exploration of Piggott Bay’s intertidal zone for one of the lowest tides of the year. See firsthand the incredible biodiversity of the intertidal area and learn about the ways intertidal creatures have adapted to thrive in this challenging environment. This will be a physically distanced event, and spaces are limited, so please register below. The exploration will be guided by Katie Kushneryk.
What to bring: Intertidal field guides (if you have them), weather appropriate gear, a curious mind.
