A hands-on workshop for anyone interested in learning how to grow native plants. Participants will get to start some native plants to take home and continue growing.

During this workshop, we will discuss which propagation techniques work best for about 30 different native species. We’ll practice together starting hardwood cuttings, and demonstrate some other techniques such as layering and division. All the techniques we’ll cover are available for home growers without the need for any fancy equipment.

Space will be limited to 10 people per time slot so please register below. The workshop is two hours long, with time slots starting at 10am and 1pm.

An email with detailed instructions for the event will be sent in early January to those who have registered.

The workshop will be led by Biologist Rob Underhill, who has 15 years of experience growing native plants.
