Ocean’s Day Intertidal Exploration!

June 8 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Have you ever seen a Gunnel up close? Observed a nudibranch as it explored its surroundings? Gone face-to-face with a Dungeness crab?

Join us June 8th at ALELEN | Miners Bay beach to celebrate World Oceans Day and experience the wonderful diversity of creatures living in the intertidal zone. With a setup of aquariums hosting specimens collected from the intertidal zone, nature educators Kelly Nordin and Dave Hutchinson will lead us in an exploration of marine life.

This event is family friendly and free, no registration required.

This year, we will be including an all-ages workshop on Nature Illustration Arts in the Intertidal with illustrator and educator, Bea Martin! Click here for workshop information and registration!
