Congratulations Mayne and Galiano!
Together we raised $3,000 for biodiversity research through our Paddle Along Fundraiser. Set back by the winds, our team did their best to go the distance, paddling 42 km around Mayne Island and out to the Ballingall Islets, concluding our journey at Montague Harbour (with Mike Nadeau circumnavigating Mayne). Along our way we documented many species of terrestrial and marine life, including several rare lichens and mosses.

Our efforts will help support further inventory work this weekend, which you can contribute to as well by posting your observations to iNaturalist.
