This volunteer position will involve accompanying our staff on field trips with youth to deliver nature-based education. There are approximately 8 field trips between October 2018 and June 2019. Each field trip is 2-3 hours long, and they are all on Wednesday afternoons. Our schedule is set, and can be discussed with interested volunteers.

No official teaching experience is required. You must love working with children and be willing to complete a criminal record check. You must be a good listener, and be comfortable leading activities with small groups of students. For a qualified applicant, there may be opportunity to assist in creating lesson plans.
